How to make beaded bells?
Today we will tell you how to make beaded bells with your own hands. A master class with step by step and a weaving pattern for beginners will help us with this.
Tools and materials Time: 2 hours Difficulty: 4/10
- 2 colors of round beads for a flower;
- Round green beads for leaves;
- Material for decorating stems (thread, wrapping paper);
Step by step instructions for weaving
So, how to weave a bell using our scheme? Let’s get started.
Step 1: start weaving the petal
On a small piece of wire, take 3 beads, pass through two of them a second time with the opposite end.
This will create the top corner of the petal.
Step 2: weave the petals
Then the petal is woven in parallel according to the scheme 3 (middle bead of a different color), 4 (2 and 3 beads of a row of a different color), 5 (2 and 4 beads of a row of a different color), 4, 3, 2, 1.
The petal should be symmetrical with a check mark inside.
Step 3: connect the petals
Recently, in a lesson on weaving gerbera, you and I learned how to connect the petals to each other, even before the end of weaving. The same method should be used to make a bell.
My name is Christina and I am an aspiring coach with practical experience in working with clients and personal transformation experience.
We are on the way if you want:
- Set YOUR goals and achieve them
- Transform limiting beliefs into supportive ones
- Find yourself and your uniqueness
- Understand YOUR desires and values
- Make a choice
- Understand your strengths
- Resolve conflict situations in relationships.
- Having made the first petal, proceed to create the second, add it to the 5th row inclusively, and pass 1 end of the wire between rows 5 and 6 of the first petal.
- This will connect the 2 petals to each other.
- Continue weaving the 2nd petal, but in front of each row, combine the side wire with the rows of the adjacent petal.
Thus, make 6 petals, the last one connect at the same time with the 5th and with the 1st.
When all the elements of the flower are connected to each other, twist the wire tightly under them.
Step 4: weave the bud
To create a beaded bell bud, you need to weave the petals according to the same pattern, but combine them not after the 5th row, but after the 3rd. Any flower needs stamens, ours is no exception.
Take the beads of the color of the checkmark inside the flower.
- Cast on 3 beads and combine them in the same way as at the beginning of weaving the petal, creating a corner.
- Then cast 15 beads of the same color but smaller or 9 of the same size on both wires.
Then, on 1 of the ponytails, cast another 15 (9) beads and 3 with a corner. Twist the ends and insert the stamens into the flower.
Step 5: making the sepals
The bell needs sepals, make 6 of them according to the scheme 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 2, 2, 1 from round green beads, connecting them to each other after the 4th row.
Insert a flower into the hole between the leaves.
Step 6: weaving leaves
So the beaded bells are ready, a master class and a weaving pattern for which we have prepared for you. If you wish, you can make several narrow leaves for him, according to any scheme.
Bell from beads, detailed master class
Beading is a great way to revitalize your wardrobe and interior: on a coat or jacket made of beads and rhinestones, you can use a magnificent brooch, and for a set for it, a bracelet or earrings, decorate a Christmas tree with a patterned bell from beads, and decorate the room with an original bonsai, or weave a beaded flower in a pot.
Do-it-yourself flowers look pretty original. What is not done in a variety of techniques for needlework: roses and lilies, gerberas and poppies, cornflowers and violets. Now we will analyze our complete master class for beginners on creating a beaded bell. It is very easy to create, and, having mastered the mechanism of the work process, you can easily make a whole bunch of these magnificent wildflowers.
Bells from different beads, master class
So, especially for beginners, a detailed mk. Let’s prepare small beads of different shades, thin wire, because knitting on a wire keeps its shape better than on a fishing line, and nippers. We also need the following:
- Special tape or thread floss.
- Tweezers and a vase for finished flowers.
For a piece of 30-centimeter wire, you need to collect beads about three cm long, depending on the size of the beads themselves, there will be from fifteen to twenty pieces.
We will fold the loop and twist the wire a little, and then we will make two more of the same loops with it.
These will be the stamens of the bell. Squeeze and pull them up, and twist the rest of the free ends of the wire below.
Using the parallel weaving method, we will make the first petal. First, you need to string one bead into the middle of the long wire (this will be our first row), and then two more, into which you need to thread the second end of the wire. Pull the ends of the wire in different directions and tighten it will be the second row. After that we weave in rows, passing the wire through all the beads in the row. In total, there will be fifteen rows according to the scheme, while expanding the petal to the center.
At a level between 5 and 6, next to the top, we will braid the second to the first petal.
Let’s make the third and fourth petals of the bell using the same method.
We will braid the last, fifth petal to the first, closing the flower. We lower the ends of the wire down, gradually creating a stem.
Insert the stamens into the hole in the bottom of the flower. If they become very short, you can attach auxiliary beads to the wire at the bottom.
Working according to the pattern of our weaving, we create sepals. To do this, we put eight beads on the wire, pass it in the opposite direction through the second, third and fourth beads and twist it with the other end of the wire.
We create five sepals on one product.
We put them on the bottom of the flower.
We stretch the free ends of the wire down, intertwining them with each other.
Using the parallel weaving method, just like the petals, we create narrow long bell leaves. One or two leaves will be enough for one flower.
We wrap the stem with our green ribbon. It can also be replaced with floss threads.
As you can see, you can make a whole bunch of bells from beads.
We look at examples of bells in the gallery to find out how they are made, we are looking for microns on the Internet.
How to create snowdrops from beads, a master class
To create a bunch of snowdrops, we will also use the parallel weaving method.
The mechanism of this technique is very simple: put 3 beads on one end of the wire and draw the other end of the wire into the two outer beads. Make sure that the ends of the wire are the same length. Next, take three beads on the first tip and draw the second tip through them, and so on. Finishing the element, reduce the number of beads again.
Snowdrop petals from beads, master class
Petals are created in the following way:
- Cut off about 50 centimeters of the wire.
- In the first row, pick up one light green bead and place it in the center of the wire.
- In the second row, on one end of the part, pick up two light green beads and pass through them with the other end of the wire.
- Pull up the detail so that the beads lay down tightly and evenly.
In the third row, on one tip of the part, we collect one white bead, one light green and one more white, then go through them with the other end of the product.
- We create the fourth and other rows with white beads in parallel weaving according to a special pattern.
- We make the three penultimate rows with light green beads. Twist the wire under the petal.
- We will make the second petal in the same way as the first, but weaving the first light green beads at the bottom of the petal, draw one working tip of the wire over the side part in the same row of the already created petal, pick up two green beads and pass the other end of the wire through them.
- Pulling up the first rows of the petal, then again pass the wire over the side of the first petal in the new row, plant one green bead on one end of the working wire, and pass through it with the other.
- Twist the wires under the new petal. It turned out that we attached the second part to the first.
- We make the third petal in the same way as the second, but at the bottom we will weave it to the 2 previous petals, i.E. We hook one working tip of the wire to the first petal, and the other tip of the working wire to the second petal.
- Next, pick up two light green beads, go through them, then again cling to the sides of the first petals, pick up one light green bead. Twist the wire under the petal.
Beaded bell workshop
The following materials are required to make a bell:
1.First of all, the blank of the bell (we will braid it with beads)
2.A large bead, which we will place inside the bell, (the color of the bead is matched to the color of the beads)
3.Multiple colors beads
4.On choice of thread or line
6.Glue moment or PVA
You need to make a hole at the top of the bell with a drill. I think that you can ask a man to help you with this. You can do the rest of the work yourself. Depending on the chosen pattern or weaving method, the color of the beads. Bells as a result turn out to be unlike each other.
When a hole is made in the bell, you need to open it with acrylic paint from all sides and wait until it dries. This paint dries quickly.
Now insert a fishing line or thread into the needle, string a green bead and tie it at the end. We collect the required number of beads, so that their number was a multiple of three. I picked two green and one turquoise beads. We close the ring, as shown, put it on the handle of the future beaded bell. Once again we pass the fishing line (thread) through the beads so that the ring is strong.
Then we put 3 beads on the needle and connect the 3rd (in this case turquoise) in a circle with each.
In the next circle, we insert one yellow bead to make the beaded bell beautiful.
Now we string 5 beads on the needle in this sequence, one turquoise, 3 green, one turquoise and connect them in each with a yellow bead.
You can see the result on the graph.
Insert one yellow bead between the slides that we have.
For the next round, we string six pieces of beads in this sequence, one yellow, one turquoise, two green, one turquoise, one yellow.
Insert one green bead.
We make the next circle. We pass a needle with a fishing line through the resulting green tubercle, before reaching the yellow bead (it is the last), draw the needle and string it on a fishing line or thread, five beads, then insert the needle, passing the yellow bead through the tubercle. And in this case, we do not bring the needle to a yellow bead. We do the whole circle just like that. The beaded bell master class can be mastered by every person who has the patience and desire to do it.
Take a look at and you will see what should happen.
Next, we pass the needle through the resulting tubercle and string four new turquoise beads.
We made the upper part, now you need to remove it, spread it with a thin layer of glue, put it back on, press lightly. And wait a bit, let it stick. Straighten the beads carefully.
Begin to braid the beaded bell down. You do not need to add or decrease the number of beads. But we select beads by color, so that you get the pattern that you came up with. And so we weave until the place from which the beaded bell becomes wider. I think you figured out what to do the master. Beaded bell class is not difficult.
As the bead bell expands, beads must be added. This should be done gradually, adhering to the selected pattern. On you can see that I have inserted a beige cabin.
We weave in this way until the bell expands. When the expansion is over, start braiding to the bottom with beads of the same color. At the very end, you can add beads of a different color to the beads of the selected color. But we do this in the event that we want to get a pattern at the bottom of a beaded bell.
We braid so that the beads are slightly below the bell blank. Now we begin to decrease the number of beads, narrowing the circle. We decrease the beads at the same distance.
We finish narrowing to the hole at the bottom of the workpiece. We fix the fishing line or thread, cut it off and begin to weave petals to the resulting pattern. Complete the wizard. Beaded bell class is not difficult. You have already seen this. Next, we fix the fishing line or thread and, starting from the top, weave the necessary rows. At the same time, we narrow it at the end in order to get the shape of a petal.
We finish weaving the petals, and begin to weave the handle to the bell. This is also very easy to do. To do this, fix the thread and weave in a circle upward.
Now we start making the tongue. This is the last stage of the work. We put a needle with a thread or a fishing line into a hole drilled with a drill, put the beads on the fishing line or thread, put on a bead at the end, and 1 more bead. Pass the needle through all the beads and bead again. Then we fix the thread or fishing line, cut off the excess pieces. Then we will straighten all the petals of the beaded bell.
New Year’s bells from beads. Master class with step by step
Today we will try to make beautiful New Year’s bells from beads on our own.
To make bells, we need:
- Beads of different colors;
- Wire 0.3 mm.
New Year’s bells made of beads master class.
First, we will make twigs, only 4 of them are needed. Cut off a small piece of wire and put 12 beads on it.
Next, take 1 more bead and thread it through both ends of the wire, after which we tighten it.
Then we put 13 beads on the wire, and thread it into 13 beads.
We also work with the other end of the wire. We have got an vershok of a branch of three leaves.
Then we put on 3 beads on both ends of the wire, take 1 more and thread the wire into it from both sides.
We make the leaves again (the procedure is described above).
In total, we should have 9 leaves on the branch. 3 on top and 3 on each side.
We make 4 branches and move on to the bells. Cut off a piece of wire, a little longer than a twig, better with a margin. We put on 12 beads, threading the wire from one side into the same beads.
To avoid making a ring, we do not tighten it strongly. We collect 10 beads and thread the wire through the beads.
In the 3rd row, we collect 8 beads and thread it in the same way. We make the 4th and 5th rows. Each has 8 beads. In the 6th row you need 6, in the 7th row 4, and in the 8th only 2 beads.
If the wire remains and it is enough for the other half of the bell, we continue to work, but start with 2 beads and finish with 12.
If the wire does not remain, it does not matter, we cut off another piece and start all over again. When both halves are ready, we begin to sew them, threading the wire along the sides, tightening tightly.
Having processed 2 sides, we get such a bell.
Making the middle. We put 12-15 beads, 1 bead and 1 bead on the wire. Thread the remaining piece of wire into the bead and the rest of the beads, bending it slightly towards the top.
Making a bow. We collect 20 beads, 1 bead and again 20 beads, passing the wire through the bead.
We put on 8 beads on the remaining wire and fasten the structure.
We fix the whole composition. First, collect the twigs and twist them tightly together.
On top of the branches, we attach a bow and bells in the same way. That’s it, the job is done. New Year’s beaded bells are ready. If there is some wire left, you can make a small ring for more convenient hanging.
